Sorry if this next part is boring. I had to get it overwith! Please stay with me! Enjoy!

Leo POV

Man, finally you stop talking! Mr. Mishizzle Man here, or Supreme Commander of the Argo II, or Repair Boy, or whatever you want to call a hot boy like me. (Clover, stop poking me. Fine! Leo Valdez here. Better? *rolls eyes and makes crazy sign*) Anyway, Where did we leave off? Oh yeah! Right before I get turned into a potted plant! (Stop snickering Clover. I don’t care if I looked good! I felt ridiculous! *sighs and shakes head*) Back to the story.....

“Rachel, what is the meeting about?” asked Clover, who bushed some bushes aside. We had stepped into the commons area, where campers were running around, probably doing cabin inspections. Rachel pulled on her loose Camp Half-Blood t-shirt. It had marker doodles, greek words and all kinds of art scribbled all over it.

“It is to discuss the Argo II’s progress and to talk about the quest.” I noticed that Clover bit her lip, again! She drives me crazy when she does that!

(Clover, stop glaring at me. It’s true! OW! I didn’t need that punch!)

“Is that why I’m needed there?” Clover asked, kicking a rock as we walked past the cabins. Rachel nodded. Clover sighed. I sort of felt bad for her. Knowing the future was kind of a big burden. I mean, I would hate it if I had to go around camp seeing all the people I knew, and knowing what happened to them in their future. It would haunt me. I sort of saw that look a lot from Clover. Oh.... I wonder what she saw about our relationship?

(OW! Will you stop doing that? I was just wondering!)

Anyway, we walked up the Big House’s front steps and walked inside. We made  our way to the rec room, where the meeting would be held. When we walked in, I noticed a lot of familiar faces. Chiron was standing at the end of the ping pong table, trying to calm everyone down. The Stoll brothers were chucking crackers at each other, like they were having a mini war. Katie, from Demeter cabin, was trying to break up the fight. Annabeth, who was standing next to Chiron, was staring at the ping pong table, as if deciding if she should cut it to pieces with her knife, which was also in her hand. I kept my distance from her. Piper was looking into her dagger, as if searching for more answers. Jason was sitting next to Piper, fingering her hair. Clarisse, from Ares, had her boots propped up on the ping pong table. Chris, her boyfriend, was sitting next to her, spraying Cheez Whiz on a few crackers. Percy wasn’t here, so no one from Poseidon's cabin had turn up. I was surprised to see Nico, from Hades, standing in the corner, trying not to have attention drawn to him. There was a kid from Apollo, but I didn’t know his name.

(Oh, Clover says his name is Will)

And then there was, Pollex? I think that is was his name was, from Dionysus. It seemed to be like everyone was accounted for. Clover and I took seats on the other side of the table, across from Jason and Piper. Okay, I think this will be easier to visualize. Clockwise starting at Chiron it went, Annabeth (Standing), Jason, Piper, an empty seat (Percy’s) then, Pollex, Travis, Katie (on the other end) and Conner on the opposite sides of Travis. It then went Chris, Clarisse, Me, then Clover. Will was standing also so he stood behind Percy’s empty seat. And Nico was standing in a corner. Make sense? Let’s hope so. Chiron banged his hoof on the wood floor, but nobody paid attention. Chiron did it several more times, but they wouldn’t be quiet. Finally Annabeth slammed her fist against the table and yelled,

“Shut it!” Everyone fell silent. Chiron thanked her and began,

“Thank you for coming, however late you are...” he looked at Clover and me. Clover blushed and I could feel my face reddening too. “At any rate, we are glad you are here. Let’s begin the meeting. Leo,” I straightened in my seat, “how is the Argo II coming along?” I stood and started my report.

“Well, it may be ready in time. The engine is working and the steering is great. The oars are having problems, but I almost have them fixed. I am going to be doing test runs starting this next week. Questions?” Everyone was silent. I smirked then sat down. They looked confused, as if I had slipped from English to Spanish or Greek. Possibly even Creak and Squeak. I wouldn’t be surprised if I did. Even Chiron looked confused, but he shook it off and said,

“Thank you. Now, the seven, are you prepared for the solstice coming up in three weeks?” Jason, Piper, Annabeth, and I nodded. Just for fun, I gave him two thumbs up, with a huge cheesy smile. Jason, Piper, and Annabeth all rolled their eyes at the same time. Weird how people can do that.... Chiron get back composure and asked,

“Counselors, this meeting is not all about our progress on the quest. It is also to discuss the action the camp is taking.” The counselors started to whisper nervously to one another.

“What action?”

“Will it effect the quest?”

“Can I go now?”

“Silence!” Chiron yelled. Everyone did fall silent. “Thank you,” Chiron said, regaining composure, “Now, as I was saying, the camp is going to have a bus arriving that is stocked full of demigods from around the country. Please, we want to make them feel welcome.” More nervous whispers passed around.

“Maybe there’re from the camp I came from!” whispered Jason to Piper.

“Does that mean that I can’t beat them up?” complained Clarisse to Chris.

“I wonder if I will get some new brothers and sisters.” Clover whispered to me. I shrugged as Chiron pounded the floor with his hoof.

“Settle down please! I will be assigning cabins to do jobs while they are here. You will have to do these jobs, or you will be punished.” Chiron reached into his pocket and pulled out a scroll. He unfurled it and started to read off cabins names,

“Hermes cabin will have to take the luggage from the bus. Athena cabin, you guys will take them to the Hermes cabin for now. If they have been claimed by then, take them to their parent’s cabin. Make sure you take their luggage to the right place Hermes. Demeter cabin, you will be helping the harpys cook dinner. Hephaestus cabin, you will be showing them around. Except Leo. You don’t have to do anything as long as you are working on the Argo II. Although, I will not allow you to do so if you are, uh, getting to know Clover here. She has work to do.” Clover and I blushed down to our toes. The other campers snickered.

“Anyway, Aphrodite cabin will be the ones to greet them. Shaking hands, welcoming them, those kinds of things. Zeus, well, since Jason is the only one, you will help out with greeting.” Jason beamed. At least he got to be with Piper.

“Ares, you will be the ones to supervise the campers. You do not hurt them though. If they do something bad, you bring them to me. Clear?” he asked Clarisse. She cursed under breath but agreed. I wondered if she could hold it.

“Apollo, you will be the ones to help the newcomers circulate through their daily activities. Nico, you have no job. I understand that you won’t be staying long.” Nico nodded his head ever so slightly.

“Yes sir. I wouldn’t be back in a while.” Next to me, Clover twiddled her thumbs. I knew she knew Nico’s future, and apparently she wasn’t happy about it. Chiron nodded. He turned back to the list and continued to read,

“Let’s see... Oh, since Pollex is the only person in Dionysis, you will be helping the Demeter girls cook.” Pollex looked pretty pleased with that. Katie rolled her eyes and looked at Chiron as if he were crazy. Something on Pollex’s face was proud, maybe a little mystified. Katie’s was complete hatred. Chiron put away the scroll and said,

“Thank you to all of you. I will be looking after everything so if you have a problem, just come and ask me.” We all nodded and I gave him another big thumbs up. Everyone in the room rolled their eyes right on cue. I smirked. I loved it when I did that. Chiron ended the meeting and Clover turned to me.

“I will come back to the bunker to grab my stuff, then I will come early in the morning to give you your breakfast. After that, I will be doing my job. Good?” I nodded and Clover poked me. We stood up and walked out of the Big House toward Bunker 9. Before we could go very far, Katie stormed out of the Big House. Pollex was chasing after her, trying to reason with her apparently. I sighed.

“You think we should break that up before it get’s ugly?” Clover nodded and we rushed over to Katie and Pollex, who were now fighting. Clover stepped in between the two and asked,

“Okay, what’s wrong?” Katie glared daggers at Pollex.

“This, person, is trying to flirt with me.” Clover looked at Pollex.

“Is this true?” she asked. Pollex blushed. I sighed,

“Dude, you are almost as bad as the Hermes cabin.” Clover smirked,

“Almost as bad as you, you mean.” I rolled my eyes, but I had to smile.

“Yeah, whatever. But you don’t have to flirt with a girl to get her to like you.” Pollex looked me in disbelief.

“How?” He asked. I smiled,

“You leave them alone.” Clover stifled some bursts of laughter. Pollex looked crestfallen. Katie sighed.

“Let’s just do this the easy way.” She pointed her finger at Pollex and I stepped in front of him, but Katie’s curse had already shot into the air. The curse hit me and I could feel my body shrinking.

“Katie!” I could hear Clover scream with anger. I was about to look down at myself, but I couldn’t. My head was stuck. My arms felt like sticks and I could only breath, blink, and hear. Someone picked me up and I saw that it was Clover. Though her tears she said,

“You look good as a potted daisy.” Potted daisy? I thought. So not cool. I was going to joke Katie back so good, she would have to leave camp. Clover ran me up the Big House and burst inside. Chiron had shrunk into his wheelchair and was sitting at a table. Clover ran up to him, with me in hand, and placed me in front of him.

“Chiron, Leo has been turned into a daisy.” Chiron looked at her as if she were crazy. If I were there in the flesh, I would have called him some names I don’t want to put in this. Chiron leaned down and picked me up.

“Well, looks like we could just pour some nectar on him and he will turn back to normal.” Clover sighed as Chiron pulled out a canteen from his wheelchair bag. He dumped a good amount of it on me and I could feel the warm drink move across my body, making it swell. Soon enough, I cracked the pot and was standing on the table, feeling a little dizzy. Clover helped me down and brushed some dirt out of my hair. Before I could say anything, she kissed me on the cheek.

“Don’t do that again, deal?” I snapped out of my shock and nodded. Clover took my hand and we left, thanking Chiron for his help.
