Clover POV

I felt my feet give out on me. I crumpled to my knees in shock. My world was turned completly upside down.

Octavian a god?!

"Oh, it's not what you think," he said, as if reading my mind. He played with the ring. "I'm not a god..." He looked at me and his eyes turned pure black, like basalt. In a soothing, sleepy, evil voice, he said.

"I am a god-dess."

My body trembled with fear. After such a long time, I never thought I would hear her. Everyone else had faced her, now it was my turn.

"Gaea..." I muttered. Octavian/Gaea leaned in toward me.

"Poor poor Clover," she muttered sleepily. "Lost the only boy you ever loved. He was taken away from you for pure entertainment..." Octavian/Gaea ran their fingers down my face. "You can have him back. With NO consequences." I bit at Octavian's hand.

"You lier!" I screamed. "Everything has consequences!"

Octavian straighted casually and his eyes slowly returned to their normal shade.

"Take her to the special cell," he ordered. It was as if Gaea was no longer there. "She needs to learn a lesson." The guards hauled me to my feet, except, I couldn't feel anything. My body was in complete shock while my brain ran a thousand miles an hour.

In the distance, that I didn't know about, a group of people watched me carefully as I was dragged off.

Alice POV

Arthur, Penelope and I watched as Clover was taken away. I had no idea what to think. We were in a camp across the world from ours. We didn't know anybody, other than Clover, Rachel, Grover and Will. We had no idea where to go. Who were the bad guys? Who do we protect? Who do we fight?

Arthur nudged me with his bulky figure, which finally matched his steely expression.

"Where do we go?" He asked.

(For simplicity purposes, I am writing their points of view in English. When they talk, it would usually be in French, but so you can get the story line, it will all be in English.)

I shrugged. "I don't know."

"Why don't we try the woods?" Penelope asked, pointing to the large trees behind us.

"I guess we can start there," I said.

"Just be on the lookout," Arthur said, drawing back an arrow. "We don't know what surprises it has." I pulled out my sword and kept forward. Arthur came next, then Penelope.

In a few minutes, we were plunged deep into the unknown forest.

Rachel POV

"Rachel!" Someone shouted. I turned quickly, forgetting the Roman I was teaching. Carl was running toward me. "Rachel!" He called again. His face showed complete panic.

"What is it?" She called, rushing toward him. He reached her side and pointed at the woods.

"Our scouts spotted a group of demigods with weapons! Do we shoot them?"

"No," I said. "They may be what we're looking for. Take me there." Carl nodded, turned on his heel, then took off. I ran quickly behind him so fast, I almost passed him twice.

When we stopped, Carl put his finger over his lips, signaling me to be quiet. He waved his hand upward and an Apollo kid dropped from a high tree.

"Where are they?" I whispered. The girl pointed to the south east.

"That way. They are advancing pretty fast."

"What do they look like?"

"Two girls and a boy. The boy seems really strong and is the only one of the three with a bow and arrow. One of the girls has a sword while the other had a curved blade," she reported.

I tapped my chin. "Is one of the girls a blonde?"

"Yes."

"Bring them to me." The girl nodded then made a bird whistle. I heard a little bit of rustling up in the trees. I looked up and barely saw one of the Demeter kids.

We were almost ready to set our plan into action.

(Warning: Slightly Grusome)

Clover POV

I spat my iron tasting spit onto the ground. My hair hung low in front of my eyes and I could feel my blood running down my face. It dripped off my nose and chin, making puddles by my feet. My hands were chained above me while my feet were chained to the ground.

"You have much valuable information," Octavian said, wiping his knife of my blood. "And I need it." I lifted my head, even though it made my nerves scream.

"Y-you're never g-going to get i-it.." I stuttered. It felt like my mouth was full of cotton. Octavian tisked and pointed the blade at me again.

"Hmm," He wondered a loud, "I wonder what it would feel like if I just..." He placed the knife over my stomach and began to push. I sucked in, but the blade broke through my skin. Octavian gave me a small smile, as if he was pleased, then quickly thrust the knife deep into me.

The pain was so overwhelming, I didn't know how to react. My body tensed up and I was barely breathing. I let out a strangled scream.

Octavian pulled the knife out and wipe it off on a towel, as if he were just drying the dishes. I hung down, crying. I could feel the blood oozing from the wound, staining my shirt, pants and shoes. I coughed a few times, and I tasted my own blood once more. I tried to spit it out, but I had so little strength, it just fell off my tounge.

"That should change your mind sooner or later, don't you think?" Octavian asked, mocking my pain. I began to cry. I couldn't do it anymore.

I was ready to die.
