Clover POV

I was sitting at the Athena table, glancing around nervously at the tables around me. Before I had left, I knew almost everyone. Now that I was back... I didn't know who's they would react. Some glanced at me then did a double take. Others totally ignored me.

But the one group that couldn't stop looking at me, was the Aphrodite table. Drew and a couple of her siblings were glancing at me and snickering, as if they were betting on something.

That wasn't good.

I looked back at my plate and stared at my food. It was just some pancakes, a couple pieces of bacon and some scrambled eggs. Something so normal for a girl who was very abnormal.

Malcolm, my half brother who was sitting next to me, glanced over at my plate, then at me.

"Are you alright?" He asked. I nodded and forced a smile. Malcolm looked convinced and he turned his attention back to his food.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw someone approach. I didn't look up. Drew, glamorous as ever, flipped her hair and gave me an amused smile.

"Enjoying breakfast?" She asked, charmspeak rolling onto the table. The other athena kids nodded, stuffing more breakfast in their mouths. I looked up a glared at her.

"Go away Drew. We don't want your makeup tips." Drew laughed, almost like a seal barking.

"Oh honey, I'm not going to give you tips! I'm making you a offer." Everyone at the table dropped their forks. When Drew wanted to make an offer, you follow the steps below:

1. Deny her

2. Punch her face

3. Run away screaming

4. Hide under your covers and pray she doesn’t find you

5. If serious, run away.

Drew twirled her hair in a hypnotizing way, waiting for my reply. I swallowed and did step one.

“Sorry Drew. I’m not interested.” I looked back at my food as Drew threw her hands in the air dramatically.

“Oh come on! At least hear me out!” Her charmspeak rolled into my ears, like a wave crashing against my brain.

I opened up my mouth to deny, but instead I said, “Fine. Lets go.” I pulled a quizzical face and thought, What am I doing?

Drew smiled and pulled me out of the seat. “Come on! This way!” I was dragged out of the dining pavilion and behind a pillar. Drew let go and faced me, her arms folded.

“Now, I have been researching your case and I have found you worthy of a boyfriend.” I stared at her. I was an inch away from slapping her.

“Drew,” I said cautiously, “I already have a boyfriend.” Drew laughed, her seal laughter getting on my nerves.

“Not that dimwitted son of Hephaestus! You know he is going to die anyway!” I clenched my fists, but Drew continued. “Honestly, I don’t know how you fell in love with that dirty minded boy, but that’s beside the point,” She leaned in close, “I will find you a boyfriend who will love you forever.” That’s when I snapped. I punched Drew in the nose and she fell to the steps.

“You can’t bribe me. Leo loves me; I love him. Back off.” Drew looked up at me with a smirk, blood dripping from her nose.

“Are you sure..?” she held up something that made my heart drop three stories.

It was the House of Hades.

Drew noticed my pale face and smiled bigger. “Yes,” she boasted, “I read it.” I lunged at it, trying to snatch it from Drew’s grasp, but she moved away.

“Haha! Nope, it’s mine now!” I growled at her and dove at the book. I slammed into Drew and we rolled on the ground. We screamed, pulled on each others hair, punched, kicked, and grasped at the book. A crowd began to gather around us, laughing and pointing. I had no idea who they were laughing at. Drew’s hair was so static, she looked like a wild lion who got electrocuted. I guessed I didn’t look much better.

“Give- It- Here!” I screamed, gripping the book.

“No!” Drew yelled back. Chiron galloped up to the crowd.

“Girls!” he shouted firmly. Drew and I froze. I had a hold of Drew’s hair while she was biting my arm. “What is this about?” he scolded.

I let go and said, “Sorry sir. Drew took a personal item of mine.”

Drew scoffed, “Yeah, sure. The House-” I quickly covered her mouth and smiled innocently. I didn’t need the whole camp knowing what I had.

Chiron scowled, “Drew, you know the rules. Give Clover her personal item back.” Drew sneered at me, but reluctantly handed me the book. I snatched it from her and glared at her.

“Everyone,” Chiron declared, “back to your activities!” Some of the campers grumbled (cough cough, ARES, cough) but they left. I stepped back from Drew, pointing a finger at her.

“Don’t you dare get into my personal stuff again.” Drew smirked. Even through the scrapes and cuts, she had an evil smile.

“Oh honey, I know more than you think.” She stood up and said one last word, “Tyler.” My face paled as she barked/laughed. She walked away, the smug smile still stuck on her face like a sticker. I had already pitched a fight…Drew needed to be taught her lesson a different way… I scowled and turned away to see Tyler by the edge of the dining pavillion, leaning on a pillar. He smiled apologetically and I blushed. I turned away and cursed myself. I was being like Drew. I looked down at the leather bound book, unsure how much Drew knew.

If Drew spread the rumors about the book…

The world could crumble.

Once again.

Hey guys! I brought in Drew! Someone else is coming in next  time! I hope you guys stay with me! This is going to be sooo cool! *walks away fangirling*
