- "SANA!!"

Sana looked at the guy in front of her, beads of sweat rolling down his forehead and breathing hard as if he just ran a mile.

- "Taehyung... Are you alright?" - She gently stroke his back as worry filled her eyes. Seeing that made the guilt inside of him grow even worse.

- "Hah...Yes..." - A moment of silence passed as Sana patiently waited for Taehyung to catch his breath. - "...Where are you going after school?"

- "Well..." - Now that he mentioned it, Sana realized she hadn't given this much thought. With yesterday's incident still fresh in her memory, would staying at the park at night again be a good idea? There was also Jungkook's generous offer, though she didn't want to trouble him with her problems. It was silly really, considering how much she had relied on Taehyung until now... Perhaps it was time for her to become more independent. - "I'm going to find a job."

- "Job?" - He certainly didn't expect that. - "That's great! ...Ummm but... Where are you going to stay for the night?"

- "Actually, I don't know yet." - Sana answered truthfully. - "Maybe I'll..."

- "Would you like to stay at my house again?" - Taehyung lowered his head. - "I'm sorry for all the stupid things I did. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you when you needed me the most. I'm sorry..."

- "Shh, it's okay. It wasn't your fault. You've always been so kind to me." - Her gaze turned sad. - "...Meanwhile, I couldn't do anything to repay you."

Taehyung patted her head comfortingly.

- "You don't need to. Being in your presence is rewarding enough. Before you came, I was so used to live in that empty place on my own. My parents were always busy with their work. As for the others, since I know most of them approached me with some sort of ulterior motive in mind, I couldn't bring myself to open up to them. I didn't want to get close to anyone, fearing they'd know my flaws and use it against me." - He looked at her adoringly. - "But with you, it was different. For once, I feel like I can drop all pretense and just be myself. For once, I don't feel lonely anymore."

As Sana got lost in his sincere gaze right then, a strange feeling tugged at her heart. She suddenly had the urge to wrap her arms around him, and so she did just that. Although Sana might not understand the concept of "love" yet, perhaps one day he'd teach her how. But for now, one thing she did know for sure was that she'd like Taehyung to be happy.

- "I want to be there for you."

Both of them smiled.

Indeed, it was destiny that they found each other.
